To change your payment information you need to add a new method and remove the old one. If you want to keep two or more payment methods on file, then we do ask you to select which one is your default method, meaning the system will try that method first.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your donation began before September 2019, your credit card may be located in our old system. Simply adding a new card in won't correct any issue. We need to remove the card out of the old system as the payment will originate from where the transaction was originally set up. Please write to email@example.com so we can resolve this for you.
It also helps to be sure to select Default for the payment method you want to use and to "Remove" any expired cards or ones you no longer use. See how to select your default below. To remove a card please follow these instructions here.
To add a new payment:
Log into your account on https://treesisters.org/ You can find it by clicking the My Account link in the top right corner.
Once you have logged in you will see the choices on the left side of your screen. Select My Payment Methods.
Click on ADD PAYMENT METHOD.
From this page you can select to add a credit card or update your Paypal. You can have multiple payment methods on file with us.
Why do we offer this? Some donors have a personal account and a business account. They may want to use a different payment method for each. Now you can!
Here is what the credit card page looks like. Please fill out the new information and click SAVE PAYMENT METHOD. And YES we do accept Debit Cards as well.
This is what the Paypal screen looks like. Please note you will log into your personal Paypal account and go to the Payment Settings of your account there to carry out the update as Paypal requires you to chose what payment method is your primary choice for all Paypal payments.

Selecting your Default Payment Method
When you go to your payment methods you will see a list of all payment methods you have added to your account. It's very important to select the default method especially when you have added a new method. Why? Because the system defaults to whatever was there first. And in some case it will stay defaulted to exipred cards which can cause your monthly donation to go into suspension and eventually cancel.
In this example the donor has two Paypal accounts listed. You will see the payment method that is in default by the words at the top (circled in this example). To select the other one simply click on "Set Default" as shown by the arrow.
