IMPORTANT NOTE: If your donation began before September 2019, your payment methods are in our old systems. Updating your card in our new system will NOT correct the issue. It will continue to collect from the old card. You need to write email@example.com. We have to manually cancel out the old card in the systems for you.
Adding a new card into our system only holds that card there for future purchases or donations as an option to choose. It does not automatically replace the payment method of the individual order that you originally set up. If you are in the new system you need to delete the card you want to stop using and select the new card as your default payment method.
To add a new credit card:
Log into your account on https://treesisters.org/ You can find it by clicking the My Account link in the top right corner.
Once you have logged in you will see the choices on the left side of your screen. Select My Payment Methods.
Click on ADD PAYMENT METHOD.
From this page you can select to add a credit card or update your Paypal. On both options you can select what donations you want to use your new payment method on.
Why do we offer this? Some donors have a personal account and a business account. They may want to use a different payment method for each. Now you can!
Here is what the credit card page looks like. Please fill out the new information and click SAVE PAYMENT METHOD. And YES we do accept Debit Cards as well.
This is what the Paypal screen looks like. Please note you will log into your personal Paypal account and go to the Payment Settings of your account there to carry out the update as Paypal requires you to chose what payment method is your primary choice for all Paypal payments.
